In-kind benefits include institutional child catering and holiday child nutrition support upon application, providing meals appropriate for the child's age.

Institutional child catering is provided free of charge for:

Children receiving nursery, mini nursery care, or kindergarten education, if:

  • Receiving regular child protection benefits,
  • Permanently ill or disabled, or living in families raising permanently ill or disabled children,
  • Living in families raising three or more children,
  • Living in families where the declared monthly income per capita does not exceed 130% of the minimum wage reduced by personal income tax and social security contributions,
  • Children in foster care,

Students in grades 1-8 attending educational institutions full-time, if:

  • Receiving regular child protection benefits, or
  • Being in foster care;
  • The child who receives regular child protection benefits of the above-mentioned age, and who has been placed in a day-care facility for the disabled;

For students attending full-time school education from grade 9, if:

  • Being in foster care, or
  • Participating in aftercare services.

A 50% normative discount is provided for:

  • Students participating in daytime school education from grades 1-8 and above, and they receive a regular child protection discount;
  • Students participating in daytime school education from grades 1-8 and above, residing in families with three or more children;
  • Students with chronic illness or disability in grades 1-8 and above.

Free holiday child nutrition support for children in need must be organized by the local municipality for at least 43 working days during the summer break, all working days of the spring, autumn, and winter breaks, as well as during the closure periods of nurseries, mini-nurseries, and kindergartens, upon request of the parent or legal representative.
